Edith F. Gunder Kells, 75, of Blairsville, PA formerly of Latrobe, PA passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2005 in the Loyalhanna Care Center, Latrobe, PA.The daughter of Edward F. and Bertha M. Allison Gunder, she was born September 21, 1929 in Vandergrift, PA.Mrs. Kells was a member of the First Assembly of God, Blairsville, PA where she was the organist for 30 years.She worked for Pryce Manufacturing, Derry, PA for a number of years and retired from the Greensburg Care Center, Greensburg, PA.Surviving is a sister-in-law, Carmen Gunder of Blairsville, PA and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry Kells in 1988 and a brother, The Rev. Edward Gunder in 2001.The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Charles S. Kitner and Rev. Donald Graff co-officiating.Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, PA.
