Alice D. Coffman Clawson, 75, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2005 in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Ray Franklin and Myrtle M. Clawson Coffman, she was born July 3, 1929 in Loyalhanna Twp., PA.Mrs. Clawson was a homemaker and lived her entire life in the Clarksburg area.Surviving are two sons, Ray D. Clawson and his friend Vicki Fritz of Clarksburg, PA; B. Neal Clawson of Clarksburg, PA; six daughters, Mary Altman and her husband, Michael of Apollo, PA; Cathleen Libengood and her husband, John of Truxall, PA; Ruthie Swindell and her husband, Terry of New Alexandria, PA; Gail Petho and her husband, Rich of Avonmore, PA; Deborah Bressler and her husband, Daniel of Clarksburg, PA and Robin E. Clawson of Saltsburg, PA; 27 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; seven sisters, Marilyn Ferrier of Home, PA; Phyllis Yeager of Punxsutawney, PA; Cora Folckemer of Home, PA; Barbara Mock of Lessiter, New York; Lorraine Coffman of Home, PA; Janice Anderson of Indiana, PA and Karen Houck of Home, PA.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Nelson Clawson on January 9, 2001; three sons, Ronald Charles Clawson, Franklin Clawson and Donald Nelson Clawson; a grandson, Eric Clawson; a great grandson, Cody Bell and five brothers, Ray, Harlen and Richard Coffman and two infant brothers.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Rick E. Fritz officiating.Interment will be in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria, PAMemorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
