Sylva Ruth Shirley Lydick, 84, of Blairsville, PA (Blacklick Twp.) passed away on Sunday February 6, 2005 in St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Rush B. and Cleona P. Hysong Shirley, she was born October 28, 1920 in Homer City, PA.Mrs. Lydick was a member of the Black Lick Free Methodist Church.Surviving are two sons, Timothy E. Lydick and his wife, Patricia of Blairsville, PA and Ernest H. Lydick and his wife, Laurie of Black Lick, PA; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Earl M. Lydick in 1988 and three brothers, Robert C. Shirley, Russell Shirley and Richard Deyarmin.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Fred Craig officiating.Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, PA
