Joseph Martin Stipcak, 78, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.The son of Martin G. and Anna Kubic Stipcak, he was born March 8, 1926 in Palmerton, PA.Mr. Stipcak lived his entire life in Palmerton.Prior to his retirement in 1998, he was employed by Blairsville Machine Products for 36 years.Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Alma V. Stiffey Stipcak whom he married February 10, 1948; a son, David M. Stipcak and his wife, Bonnie of Blairsville, PA; a daughter, Linda G. Mitchell and her husband, Donald of Black Lick, PA; five grandchildren, Gretchen Stiffler, Rachel Fabian, Terry Murphy, Jamie Murphy and Shawn Murphy; six great grandchildren; two brothers, John Stipcak and his wife, Ann of Coral, PA; Mike Stipcak and his wife Ruth of Palmerton, PA; three sisters, Rose Lunchuck of Coral, PA; Kathryn Cribbs and her husband, Jim of Blairsville, PA and Helen Tomko and her husband, Joe of Blairsville, PA.He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Matthew, Andrew, Martin and Anthony Stipcak; two sisters, Mary Stipcak and Ann Robinson.The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Fred Craig officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
