Della P. Nicholson George, 94, of Hollidaysburg, PA formerly of Blairsville, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 1, 2005 in Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg.The daughter of Benjamin and Anzenetta Wagner Nicholson, she was born March 6, 1910 in Derry, PA.Mrs. George was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, PA.Surviving are a son, Mel R. George and his wife, Barbara of Hollidaysburg, PA; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert George in 1970; two stepsons, Charles George and Edwin George; two brothers, William and Allen Nicholson; six sisters, Nora Johns, Lucinda Humphrey, Hattie Richards, Elizabeth Dandoy, Bertha Nicholson and Susanna Harris.The family will receive friends on Monday from 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, PA with Pastor William P.
