Irene E. Bernard McIntire, 82, of Blairsville, PA (Blacklick Twp.) passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2004 in St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Augustine and Ann Rodager Bernard, she was born January 26, 1922 in Tyroll, Austria.Mrs. McIntire and her husband, Bob, owned Bob's Custom Upholstery, Blairsville, for 20 years. She retired in 1995.Surviving are three sons, Terry W. McIntire and Dale "Sam" McIntire and his wife, Wanda of Blairsville; Butchy McIntire, at home; two daughters, Barbara Bruner and her husband, Robert of Marshall Heights and Ruth Ann Zadravec and her husband, Frank of Blairsville; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a brother, Daniel Bernard of Blairsville.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert A. McIntire on December 18, 1995 and a sister, Ann Muir on November 26, 2002.The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.
