Emma P. Bako Bracken, 85, of Blairsville, PA died on Thursday, September 2, 2004 in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.The daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Kovach Bako, she was born April 20, 1919 in Lorain, Ohio.Prior to her retirement in 1982, she was employed by Torrance State Hospital. Surviving are a daughter, Kathryn Thompson and her husband, William; three sons, Walter Bracken; Duane Bracken and his wife, Mary; and Ronald Bracken all of Blairsville, PA; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Steve, John, Robert and Frank Bako and a sister, Elizabeth Collier.At the request of Mrs. Bracken there will be no visitation or services.Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N.
