Donna M. Marsh McDowell, 68, of Blairsville, PA died on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 in Burrell Twp. as the result of an automobile accident.The daughter of Theodore E. and Rosella Sarra Marsh, she was born August 16, 1935 in Huntingdon Co., PA.Mrs. McDowell attended the Black Lick United Methodist Church.Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Homer T. McDowell Jr. whom she married March 29, 1957; three sons, Homer T. "Buddy" McDowell III and his wife, Juanita of Blairsville, PA; Edward J. McDowell and his wife, Lesley of New Castle, PA and Keith D. McDowell and his wife, Lorie of Blairsville, PA; a daughter, Valarie Trimarchi and her husband, Bill of Indiana, PA; two grandchildren, Sadie Marie McDowell and Madison Bree McDowell; two brothers, George Marsh of Homer City, PA and William O'Conner of Atlanta, Georgia.She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Helen DeChurch and a brother, Theodore Marsh Jr.The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Jason L. McQueen officiating.Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
