Mary Belle Fitzsimmons Patterson, 87, of Blairsville, PA (Brenizer) died on Sunday, July 25, 2004 in the Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, PA.The daughter of John and Mary D. Alter Fitzsimmons, she was born December 9, 1916 in Pitcairn, PA.Prior to moving to Brenizer four years ago, she lived on the family farm in Blacklick Twp. for 30 years.Surviving are three sons, John C. Patterson of Brenizer, PA; George C. "Nick" Patterson and his wife, Angie of Blairsville, PA and Thomas E. Patterson of Blairsville, PA; four grandchildren, Charmaine Bruner, Charlie Patterson, Pam Patterson and Ann "Mousey" Breakiron; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles J. Patterson on June 8, 1990 and a brother, George M. Fitzsimmons.The family will receive friends on Monday from 7 to 9 P.M. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. with Dr. Roger D. Petersen officiatingInterment will be in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum, PA.
