Iva Louise McGinity Hogan, 86, of Indiana, PA died on Saturday, June 26, 2004 in St. Andrews Village, Indiana, PA.A daughter of Frank and Maude Donahue McGinity, she was born December 8, 1917 in Blairsville, PA.Surviving are a son, Joseph S. Hogan and his wife, Betty of Plumville, PA; three daughters, Grace Gromley of Indiana, PA; Sally Ashbaugh and her husband, William of Indiana, PA and Marian "Dee-Dee" O'Neil and her husband, Daniel of Blairsville, PA; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph L. Hogan in 1987; a son, David Hogan in 1979; a grandson, David L. Hogan in 1959; five brothers, Clarence, William, Ralph, Frank and Elmer McGinity and six sisters, Mae Horrell, Margaret Ellis, Jane Benamati, Evelyn McGinity, Sally Lucas and Mary Ellen Donaldson.The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Alfred Gallaher officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.
