Elizabeth F. Flynn, 87, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) died on Thursday, May 13, 2004 in the Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, PA.A daughter of George and Frances Cowan Flynn, she was born November 18, 1916 at the home where she lived in Derry Twp.Ms. Flynn was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA and a 50-year member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court St. Theresa #562.Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Artwill Clothing, Blairsville, PA for 20 years.Surviving are four nephews, George Henigin and his wife, Amy; Herbert Henigin and his wife, Cecelia; Samuel Henigin and Rev. James Henigin and his wife, Ruthie, all of Blairsville, PA and a life long friend, Sue Jones of Blairsville, PA.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John and George "Pete" Flynn; a sister, Mary Henigin and a nephew, John Henigin.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held on Sunday at 8:30 P.M. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 A.M. in the SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery.The rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:00 P.M.
