Mary Yvorra Nemec, 81, of Blairsville, PA died on Friday, March 5, 2004 at her home.A daughter of Joseph and Rosie Orts Yvorra, she was born November 6, 1922 in Logan, West Virginia.Mrs. Nemic lived in Cabot, Pa before moving to Blairsville eight years ago where she was a member of the Blairsville United Presbyterian Church.Prior to her retirement in 1967, she worked for 20 years at Nemec's Floral Shoppe, Freeport, PA.Surviving are four daughters, Mary Henke and her husband, Ted of Hoover, Alabama; Juanita Groff and her husband, James of Lebanon, PA; Josie Ross and her husband, Ronald of Blairsville, PA and Tris Ruberge and her husband, Jim of Murrysville, PA; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a brother, James Yvorra of Portersville, PA; two sisters, Rose Martinez of Turtle Creek, PA and Frances Buccelli of Ellwood City, PA.Mary will be remembered as a loving Christian mother, grandmother and great grandmother.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Nemec in 1999; a brother, John Yvorra and two sisters, Angeline Rodriguez and Violet Rowley.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. in the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville, PA with Rev. Jeffrey L.
