Alverda D. Schaeffer Perrine, 89, of Indiana, PA formerly of Blairsville, PA died on Monday, December 22, 2003 in Beacon Ridge, Indiana, PA.A daughter of Orville O. and Kathryn Shelly Schaeffer, she was born October 12, 1914 in Pitcairn, PA.Mrs. Perrine lived most of her life in Blairsville where she was a member of the United Presbyterian Church.She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Oliver, Blairsville, PA and Kathryn Smith, Indiana, PA; two grandchildren, John W. Oliver Jr. and Bambi J. Libengood.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn B. Perrine in 1991 and a brother, Orville O. Schaeffer, Jr.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeffrey L. Ruff and Mr. Joe Traynor co-officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
