Ethel E. Steeves, 81, a resident of St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, PA for the last five years died on Monday, December 8, 2003 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A daughter of Robert A. and Katie Bell Bracken Steeves, she was born February 5, 1922 in Nanty Glo, PA.She lived her entire life in the Derry-Blairsville area and had worked as a caregiver.Surviving are four brothers, Fredrick H. Steeves, Blairsville, PA; William Steeves, Derry, PA; Richard Steeves and Edward Steeves, both of Blairsville, PA; and four sisters, Catherine Hill and her husband, Tom, Derry, PA; Rosella Squib and her husband, Fredrick, Derry, PA; Viola Trinder and her husband, George, Charleroi, PA and Sylvia Hill and her husband, Carl, Josephine, PA.She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Steeves and David Steeves.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Fred Craig officiating.Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
