Nettie V. Jones, 87, of Blairsville, PA died on Sunday, December 7, 2003 at the Keeper of the Flame, Blairsville, PAA daughter of William F. and Bessie V. Hollis Jones, she was born October 21, 1916 in Burrell Twp., Indiana Co., PAMiss Jones was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville, PA for 74 years and the Jolly Eight Card Club.Prior to her retirement in 1978, she was employed by P.C. Walter Co., Blairsville, PA as a secretary for 42 years.Surviving are nine nieces and nephews; 20 great nieces and nephews and 13 great-great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wilbert R. "Pete" Jones, Blair E. Jones and Elmer L. Jones; a sister, Thelma Marie Jones; a niece, Carolyn Sue Weglage and a great niece, Joanna Weglage.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeffrey L. Ruff officiating.Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
