Larry James Knupp, 53, of Black Lick, PA died on Monday, December 1, 2003 in East Fairfield Twp., PA.A son of James "Bill" and Helen Newill Knupp, he was born April 14, 1950 in Latrobe, PA.Prior to his retirement in 1992, he worked for R & P Coal Company. He was a member and past president of UMW Local 1680.Surviving are his wife of 16 years, LuAnn Buggey Knupp to whom he married June 30, 1987; a son, Thomas J. Knupp and his wife, Kelly, Josephine, PA; a grandson, Brian J. Knupp; father, James "Bill" Knupp and his wife, Mary E., Latrobe, PA; brother, Billy Knupp and his wife, Flo, Latrobe, PA; a stepbrother, Russell Rummell and his wife, Donna, Ligonier, PA and an uncle, Charles Knupp and his wife, Carol, Beaver Dam, VA.He was preceded in death by his mother in 1977 and a sister, Virginia Smith 1n 1985.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 P.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Gerald D.
