Ralph Benjamin Cribbs, Jr., 62, of Homer City, PA died on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.A son of Ralph "Ben" and Elizabeth Pondy Cribbs, he was born February 21, 1941 in Lorraine, Ohio.Mr. Cribbs graduated from Blairsville High School in 1959. He received both his Bachelors degree and Masters degree in Music Education from IUP. He taught for one year at Saltsburg after college and then spent the rest of his teaching career at Marion Center.As a musician, he played tenor sax and flute with many bands including Shades of Blue. He was a member of the Indiana Lions Club and was an avid golfer. He loved to cook for his family and friends and was famous for his Hungarian pickles.Surviving are four children, Bonnie Halle and her husband Tom, Hillsborough, NJ; R. Benjamin Cribbs and his wife Amy and their children, Sarah and Zoe, Exton, PA; Lauren Cribbs, Cornelius NC and Sam Cribbs, Cornelius, NC; two sisters, Sheila Jorgenson and her husband, Pete, Clarksburg, PA and Elaine Rizza and her husband, Tony, Hilton Head, SC; three nephews, Rob Jorgenson; Jon Jorgenson and his wife, Sherri and Dan Jorgenson and his wife, Billie Jo; and a special friend, Shawna Fairman.He was preceded in death by his father in 1992 and his mother in 2002.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 P.M. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, PA with Rev. Bruce J.
