Aledean "Dena" Sue Clawson

Aledean “Dena” Sue Clawson, 52, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in her home.

She was the daughter of George W. Clawson and Virginia S. (Kuntz) Clawson; she was born in Latrobe, PA on November 8, 1967.

Dena was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Indiana, PA and was active in the Love and Light in Blairsville. She was a graduate of Arin Intermediate School Class of 1989.

She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

She is survived by her parents George W. and Virginia S. Clawson of Blairsville; a brother, Dennis G. Clawson of Blairsville; a nephew, Zack G. Clawson and fiancée Lauren Stover of Blairsville; a great nephew, Leland P. Clawson of Blairsville; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A special "thank you” to Arlene Bell for being Dena’s guardian angel.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday in the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N Walnut Street, Blairsvlle, PA 15717. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Terry Semsick officiating.

Interment will be in Marion Center Cemetery, Marion Center, PA.
