Anna Marie Mcintire

Anna Marie (Sabella) McIntire, 70, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.

The daughter of Nicholas R. and Margaret M. (DiStanislao) Sabella, she was born September 22, 1948 in Latrobe, PA.

Anna was a member of Grace Cathedral, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

She graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1967 and worked for 30 years as a custodian at Blairsville High School, retiring in 2008.

She was a very kind person and liked helping other people, loved cooking, her flower garden and feeding the animals around her house.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Raymond N. McIntire, Sr. whom she married November 25, 1965, two sons, Raymond N. McIntire, Jr. of Blairsville and Jeffrey S. McIntire of Blairsville; a grandson, Noah N. McIntire, four brothers, James F. Sabella (Miralla) of Blairsville; Anthony R. Sabella of Blairsville; Michael Sabella (Jackie) of Blairsville and Charles E. Sabella (Connie) of Blairsville; two sisters, Velma Clawson (James) of Blairsville and Gloria Shankle (Robert) of Derry and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Angela Platt in 2016.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Motzing officiating.

Interment will be in Livermore Cemetery, Derry Twp., PA.
