Annabel Machak

Annabel (St. Clair) Machak, 101, of Blairsville, PA died on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.

The daughter of Earl Hayes and Mary Ellen (Jones) St. Clair, she was born on June 24, 1922 in New Florence, PA.

She was a faithful member and Deacon of the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville.

Annabel worked at Torrance State Hospital in medical records until her retirement.

Surviving are her two daughters, Johna Machak of Blairsville, and Karen Hahn of Blairsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John George Machak in 1981, three brothers, Russell Jones, Jacob St. Clair, and Earl St. Clair, and three sisters, Della Wagner, Catherine Ressler, and Betty McClain.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.

Interment will be in the Armagh Cemetery, Armagh, PA.
