Bernice Faye Trask

Bernice Faye (Boarts) Trask, 74, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at her home.

The daughter of D. Roy and Roxanna M. (Starry) Boarts, she was born on December 26, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Mrs. Trask was a member of the Cross Roads Community Church, Blairsville and she supported Bridges of Grace missionary ministries in Guatemala, for many years, until her death.

She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a degree in English and was a teacher for the Indiana School District.

Surviving are her loving husband, Rev. David K. Trask of Blairsville; her children, Scott (Gigi) Trask of Greensburg; Kirby (Sheryl) Trask of Rochester, NY; Bruce (Deneen) Trask of Warner Robins, GA; Amy (Larry) Libengood of Blairsville; Roy (Jess) Trask of Elizabethtown; Wayne (Beth) Trask of Sarver;  her grandchildren, Benjamin and Katarina Trask; Kirby and Tucker Trask; Samantha (Kevin) Cox, Jillian and Katelyn Trask; Rachelle (Tony) Cosentino, Casey (Kaitlyn) German, Zachary German; Elijah and Josiah Trask; Allyssa, Alexis and Marcus Trask; her great grandchildren, James and Michael Cox; Kaius Cosentino; Kira Waltman, Eloise German; her brother, Preston J. Boarts and wife, Evelyn of Josephine; many loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Esther Miriam.

Due to the health concerns of COVID-19 the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
