Beverly J. Treece

Beverly Jean (Cummings) Treece, 80, of Clarksburg (Conemaugh Twp.), PA died on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at her home.

The daughter of Albert F. and Cathern (Pease) Cummings, she was born on March 12, 1944, in White Twp., Indiana County, PA.

Beverly loved driving a school bus, mowing grass, decorating for Christmas, talking with Myrtle and Raylynn, loved her pets, but spending time with her children and grandchildren brought her extreme joy and the highlight to any day.

Surviving are two sons, Brian Treece (Mary) of Clarksburg, and Brett Treece (Brittany) of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Brandon (Stephanie), Bradley (Emma), Cathern, Caleb (Danielle), Ryan, and Megan; one great grandchild, Graham; a brother-in-law, Raymond Schalcosky of Colorado Springs, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 41 years, Robert G. Treece on March 15, 2004, and a sister, Shirley Schalcosky in 2020.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Jack Lucas officiating.

Interment will be in the Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg.
