Brian K. Groff, Sr.

Brian Keith Groff, Sr., 66, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian.

A son of the late Vernon S. and L. Ruth (McEwen) Groff, he was born Nov. 5, 1956, in New Kensington.

Brian retired from the trucking industry. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family. Brian was a great husband who loved his wife and family very much.

He is survived by his wife, Babette (Semelsberger) Groff, of Indiana; children, Michael Groff and wife Gina, of Indiana; Elizabeth Brown and husband Dan, of Indiana; BJ Groff, of Leechburg; Lisa Cousins and husband Ken, of Kittanning; Jeanie Kitchen, of Greensburg; step-children, Sara Mikitko and significant other, Dan Horvath, of Altoona; Luke Mikitko, of Northern Cambria; siblings, Edgar Groff, of Vandergrift; Jean Snodgrass, of Leechburg; Mae Della Grgic, of Colorado; Kathy Walker, of Florida; Darlene Graham, of Leechburg; Renita Roberts, of Leechburg; Bob Groff, of Texas; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Groff and Norman Groff.

There is no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
