Charles Richard Erb

Charles Richard “Shotgun” Erb, 70, of New Alexandria, PA passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his home.

The son of Richard B. and Eugenia (Howard) Erb, he was born August 16, 1951 in Indiana, PA.

Shotgun graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1969 and worked as a truck driver in construction.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his stepdaughter, Janel L. Brown of New Alexandria; stepson, John Evanichko of Saltsburg; five step-grandchildren, Ivy Evanichko, Zachary Brown Jr., Michael Brown, Gavin Evanichko and Gage Evanichko, four sisters, Donna Erb, of Shaker Heights, Ohio; Linda Elliott, of Blairsville; Peggy Ehman (Ted) of Gray Station and Penny Horrell (Steve) of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sandra Lee Erb in 2021.

As per the wishes of Shotgun, there will be no services.
