Daniel Edwin Pahel

Daniel Edwin Pahel, 66, of Altoona, PA passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Hillview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Altoona, PA.

The son of Henry A. and Norma J. (Kellar) Pahel, he was born November 29, 1952 in Latrobe, PA.

Dan was a US Army veteran and worked for Paul Riggle & Sons Trucking, Apollo.

He was a very opinionated person and like playing video games.

Surviving are six children, Steven, Danielle, Lillian, Aaron, Jason and Jessica, three brothers, Joe, Dick and Matthew Pahel, three sisters, Linda Stockton, Tammy Boyer and Marlene Rick.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ron Pahel, Wayne Pahel and Henry Pahel Jr.

In keeping with Dan’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.

Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
