David Allen Raymond

David Allen Raymond, 77, of Indiana, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

A son of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Wydo) Raymond, he was born Nov. 10, 1946, in Indiana.

David was a graduate of Indiana High School. He was the owner/operator of Raymond Art and Plate Glass. For 20 years, David enjoyed playing softball. He also enjoyed playing golf, baseball, shooting pool and bowling. He was a founding member of the Indiana Bowling Association and served 20 years as the secretary. David also served as league secretary for 30 years, bowled in 40 Pennsylvania State tournaments, and various other National, Eagles and Moose tournaments. David was also a member of the Indiana Legion Post 141, a Fellow member of the Indiana Moose Lodge 174 and a member of the Indiana Eagles Aerie 1468, where he served as secretary for over 25 years.

He is survived by two children: Rachel Kopchick and husband Josh, of Virginia Beach, Va; David Raymond and wife Chrystie, of Erie; a brother, Donald Raymond and wife Millie, of Fort Collins, Co; three grandchildren: Marissa Kopchick, Carter Raymond and Grant Raymond.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Amsler.

A memorial service with Moose Lodge honors will be announced at a future date. Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
