Denise Eileen (Sharp) Shaffor, 65, of Clarksburg, PA (Conemaugh Twp.) passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at her mother’s home surrounded by her family.
The daughter of Donald B. and Betty G. (Smith) Sharp, she was born February 21, 1959, in Indiana, PA.
Denise graduated from Saltsburg High School, Class of 1977.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, her beloved canine companion, Annie, planting flowers, working outside and making sure that her house and yard looked perfect.
Surviving is her mother, Betty (Smith) Sharp of Clarksburg; her son, Preston Shaffor (Christine) of Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Bradley, Brandi, and Bryce; her sister, Donna Kosker of Black Lick; her brother, Dennis Sharp of Clarksburg; and her best friend, Judy Clawson of Spring Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Sharp on November 13, 2018, and her daughter, Amanda Shaffor.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23rd from 2 PM until the time of the funeral service at 4 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville with Pastor John Manon officiating.
Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA.
