Dennis James Clark, 68, of Blairsville, PA (West Wheatfield Twp.) passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023 at his home. The son of Raymond E. and Lucille (Defibaugh) Clark, he was born on September 19, 1955 in Indiana, PA. Dennis was a veteran of the US Army and worked for 23 years at Winchester Industries in Saltsburg until his retirement in 2013. He was a member of the Ham Radio Club and volunteered at the Indiana Senior Center teaching computer literacy. Dennis loved to hunt, re-load ammunition, and help fix computer issues. Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Wolye “Kim Chee” Clark, whom he married on April 14, 1976; two children, Joseph R. Clark of Blairsville and Julie Bartlebaugh (Robert, III) of Armagh; two grandchildren, Bo Bartlebaugh and Clairissa Bartlebaugh; three sisters, Nancy Adamsky of Indiana, Alice Deyarmin (Victor) of Brush Valley, and Phyllis Elkin of Seward; four brothers, Ernest Clark of Virginia, Donald Clark (Nellie) of Indiana, Gary Clark (Gloria) of Brush Valley, and Richard Clark of Brush Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Edna Haight. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Jon Ditter, officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA. Military services will be accorded by the Blairsville Military Honor Guard at the cemetery.
