E. Dorothy Marshall

E. Dorothy (Rushton) Marshall, 89, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 in her home.

The daughter of William Rushton and Mary Grace (Abel) Rushton; she was born in Deckers Point, PA on June 21, 1930.

Mrs. Marshall was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church in Blairsville.  She was a past matron of Blairsville Chapter #166 Order of the Eastern Star, past royal matron queen of Christian Court #12 Order of Amaranth in Indiana, and past worthy high priestess of Westmoreland Shrine #18 of Pennsylvania White Shrine of Jerusalem, Greensburg.

She was a graduate of Marion Center High School, Class of 1948 and was self-employed in the automotive wholesale business.

She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Marshall of 68 years whom she married on December 21, 1951; sons, Robert W. Marshall of Blairsville, and Rodney D. Marshall (Nancy) of Blairsville; grandchildren, Jessica D. Marshall, Lauren N. Domasky, Shelby Katich, and Derek Marshall; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Rushton and a sister, Idella Ober.

As per Mrs. Marshall’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
