F. Caroline Miller

F. Caroline (Richards) Miller, 83, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.

The daughter of Thomas A. and Jane C. (Smith) Richards, she was born December 13, 1940, in Latrobe, PA.

Caroline graduated from Derry High School, Class of 1959. She was an aide at Torrance State Hospital for 32 years until her retirement in 1997.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Caroline enjoyed playing cards, knitting, and traveling. 

Surviving is her son, Robert A. Miller of Blairsville; two stepchildren, John B. Miller (Amy) of Dover, and Judy Kelly of Saltsburg; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Miller in 1992, two stepdaughters, Joan Lowman and Alice Boring, and her brother, Harry Richards.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA 15717 where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM with Pastor John Manon officiating.

Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville PA.
