Gene O. Fozard

Gene O. Fozard, 83, of Blairsville, PA died in Shadyside Hospital on January 30, 2021.  He was the son of Roberts and Elsie Fozard, Blairsville.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Myra L. Piper; his daughter, Renee Watson, her husband, Ross, and children, Ariel and Logan; his son, Scott Fozard, his wife, Stephanie, and children, Abigail and Carter, plus numerous other relatives. Gene was a retired Air Traffic Controller from Pittsburgh tower/approach control and a former USAF Air Traffic Controller. His activities included singing in the choir at Hebron Lutheran Church.  He also served at the regional level of the Lutheran church as a member of synod council, a cameraman and editor for videos produced regionally, and numerous local and synodical committees over the past 54 years. He loved his family and was an avid photographer.  He donated his body to science.
