Gladys was a 1941 graduate of Indiana High School and a member of Marion Center Presbyterian Church. She loved all sports, watching Penguin’s hockey was her favorite, cheering on her grandson playing for the Indiana Chiefs, rooting on all her grandchildren playing their sports made her smile. And of course, watching stock car races at Marion Center Speedway. Gladys loved to work, and she was good at whatever she put her mind to. She had been a Girl Scout leader and baked cakes for over 65 years. Gladys made wedding cakes for everyone in her family and many other friends. She worked at Windy Ridge Dairy for 23 years. Grammy Donut retired from The Doughnut Shop after another 23 years, but soon realized she wasn’t happy sitting at home, so she went to work in the cafeteria at Indiana High School for two years, retiring at 83 years old. She loved sitting on her porch and for over 80 years, Gladys crocheted blankets and her famous tea towels, only stopping when the Lord called her home.

She is survived by a son, Ronald Blazavich and wife Nancy, of Indiana; and a daughter, Sherry Beatty, of Indiana; two sisters: Ada Frederick, of Coral and Twila Nagg and husband Joseph, of Erie; three grandchildren: Clint Blazavich and wife Kelly, Cori Kellar and husband Daryl and Carly Krizmanich and husband Josh; great grandchildren: Samantha Williams and husband Brandon, Benjamin Blazavich, RaeAnne Bennett and husband Dustin, Colton Barrett and fiancée Angel, Abby Blazavich, Andrew Krizmanich, Nick Krizmanich and Joey Krizmanich; great-great grandchildren: Gabe Williams, Madex Williams, Wyatt Williams, Nova Williams and Ellie Bennett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Edward P. Blazavich, who passed away in 1986.
