Glenn Franklin Phillips

Glenn Franklin Phillips, 62, of Blairsville, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana.

He was the son of Kenneth Phillips and Florence Saxion Phillips. He was born in Kittanning, PA on January 3, 1957.

Glenn was a Staff Sargent in the United States Air Force where he specialized in Air Force Mechanics for 15 years and served in the Gulf War.

He enjoyed camping with his family at Silver Canoe Campground and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 37 years, Loretta L. “Rice” Phillips whom he married, December 31, 1981; daughters, Stephanie Gallo (Adam) of Indiana, Jessica Phillips of Indiana; a brother, Kenneth Phillips (Joan) of Shelocta; grandchildren, Kayden Gallo, Addyson Phillips, Kortlynd Gallo, and Cooper Morris; aunt and uncle, Robert and Irene Schrecengost of Cortland, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joyce Hopkins.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
