Helen E. Lawler

Helen E. Lawler, 98, of Indiana, passed away on Monday March 23, 2020 at the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.

The daughter of Paul and Mildred (Holt) Michaels, she was born May 15, 1921 in Clearfield, PA.

Helen held a variety of jobs throughout her life but worked for many years as a seamstress in a sewing factory.

Helen enjoyed cooking and baking, had a love for sewing and quilting, and enjoyed gardening, but above all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Hawk (Cree) of Indiana; two grandchildren, David Hawk (Sherry) and Kimberly Crahen; six great grandchildren, Adam, Sarah, Emily, Abbey, Victoria, and Dalton; seven great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis Michaels of Indiana, and Paul Michaels (Judy) of Barberton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Lawler who passed in 2003, two brothers, Kenneth and Blair Michaels; and two sisters, Mildred Lytle and Norma Jean Kepple.

A memorial service at Robinson-Lytle Funeral Home will be announced at a later date.

All services are being handled by Robinson-Lytle Funeral Home, Indiana.
