Irma Marie Brozick

Irma Marie Paniale Brozick , 91 of Blairsville, PA passed away on January 21, 2023 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing And Rehabilitation (North Hills) 1105 Perry Highway Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

The daughter of Giuseppe Paniale and Celestina Pavetto Paniale was born May 21, 1931 at Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA. Irma was a 1949 Blairsville High School graduate and member of SS Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville. She was employed at NBOC Bank in Blairsville for many years before she retired in 1973 to care for her parents. She was a very proud mother, grandmother and loved her two sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was an avid walker throughout Blairsville but her real love was Polka dancing with her husband Frank. She married Frank, her high school sweetheart, on June 10, 1950. They were married for 66 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank who passed away on December 6, 2016, her mother Celestina (Pavetto) Paniale (March 4, 1982) and her father Giuseppe Paniale (June 10, 1982), sisters Theresa (Paniale) Lasinsky, Jane (Paniale) Laney and brother Peter Paniale.

She is survived by her two sons Donald A. Brozick (Joan Ficca Brozick) of The Villages, Florida, Joseph F. Brozick (Sue Jurecko Brozick) of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren Michael Brozick, Chicago, Ill, Douglas Brozick, (Lisa) Spotsylvania, Va, Amy Brozick Jacobson (Eric), Herndon, VA, John Brozick, Long Island, NY, and Justin Brozick, Pittsburgh PA; four great grandchildren Jack Brozick, Maverick Jacobson, Eleanor Brozick and August Brozick.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm Wednesday January 25th at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc 49 N Walnut Street Blairsville, PA followed by a prayer service offered by Father Stephen R Bugay.

Interment will be at SS Simon and Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful nurses, caregivers and staff at both ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation and also the Keeper of the Flame Blairsville, PA. for all their kindness and support.
