Isaac Jay Kennedy

Isaac Jay Kennedy, 76, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 in his home.

The son of Ralph Kennedy and Anna (Hykes) Kennedy, he was born in Greencastle, PA on July 6, 1943.

Isaac worked for 30 years at Torrance State Hospital as a Psychiatric Aide. He enjoyed bowling, disc golfing, and music. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and limitless generosity.

He is survived by his children, Zaye Q. Green (Paul) of Charleston, WV, Heather C. Kennedy of Blairsville, Isaac J. Kennedy (Mary) of New Alexandria, and Brandi M. Kennedy Thompson (Robert) of Macungie; siblings, Norman Kennedy of Greencastle, Charles Kennedy of Erie, Phillip Kennedy of Greencastle, Jerome Kennedy of Greencastle, Dorothy Martin of Greencastle and Louise Bair of Greencastle; eighteen grandchildren, Cassandra, Amber, Karen, Paul, Charles, Coty, Emmalynne, Madison, Gabriel, Cole, Aiden, Katerina, Blake, Evelyn, Lily, Robert III, Alexander, and Skyler; and five great grandchildren.

Isaac is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Sam Kennedy, Paul Kennedy and Ronald Kennedy.

Due to the health concerns of the COVID-19 virus, services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date for family and friends.
