James “Jim” Edward Rittenour, Jr., 67, of Clarksburg, PA (Conemaugh Twp.), passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
The son of James E. Rittenour, Sr. and Margaret (Ashcroft) Rittenour of Forbes Road, he was born March 8, 1958, in McKeesport, PA.
Jim drove asphalt trucks most of his life for numerous companies and most recently worked for PennDOT.
He enjoyed many hobbies, including gardening, mowing grass, riding his motorcycle, playing pool, hunting and fishing, but loved spending time with his family the most. He will always be remembered for his witty remarks, his sarcasm, his love of Hot Tamales (which he shared with his grandson Kayden), his work ethic and his love of family. Jim will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew him.
Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Deborah “Deb” A. (Bouch) Rittenour, whom he married on August 23, 1980 of Clarksburg; two sons, Jason Rittenour (Ashley) of Clune, and Matthew Rittenour (Sarah) of Blairsville; five grandchildren whom he loved deeply, Tori Geer Rittenour, Emilie Rittenour, Jason Rittenour, Jr., Braelynn Geer, and Kayden Rittenour; his sister, Juanita Kepchia (Ron) of Greensburg; his brother, Dan Rittenour (Karen) of Jeanette; two brothers-in-law, Richard Bouch (Rebecca), and Charlie Bouch (Tonya); his sister-in-law, Linda Miller (Scott); and numerous nieces and nephews who have become family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Jim’s wishes, there will not be any visitation or funeral services.
