Jeffrey M. Zerfoss

Jeffrey Morris “Jeff” Zerfoss, 57, of Lucernemines, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

The son of Jack and Patricia (Ramsell) Zerfoss, he was born January 26, 1967, in Indiana, PA.

Jeff graduated from Saltsburg High School, Class of 1985.  He was employed by Integrated Power Services (IPS), formerly known as Electro-Mec, Indiana for 35 years.

He was a member of the Independent Traditional Holiness Church in Indiana where he served as a church officer.

Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers Tim and Mark, as well as his nephew Matthew. He also enjoyed all sports, especially the Steelers, Pirates, and IUP.

Surviving is his mother, Patricia Zerfoss of Clarksburg; his wife of 28 years, Kelli D. (Smith) Zerfoss, whom he married on October 21, 1995; a daughter, Kierisa Zerfoss (Jordan Hullenbaugh) of Lucernemines; a sister, Linda Fry (Keith) of Lucernemines; two brothers, Timothy Zerfoss (Judy) of Blairsville and Mark Zerfoss of Homer City; nieces and nephews, Cortney Litz, Ashley DeBellis, Mike Zerfoss, Emily Zerfoss, and Matthew Zerfoss; a great nephew, Aiden Litz; a great niece, Hadley DeBellis and his father-in-law, Bill Smith of Blairsville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack M. Zerfoss and mother-in-law Lillian P. Smith.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville.

Additional viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Independent Traditional Holiness Church, Indiana, with Rev. Randy Perry officiating.

Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Clarksburg, PA.
