June Marie Ehman

June Marie (Kellerman) Ehman, 85, of Blairsville, PA (Gray Station) passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at her home.

The daughter of Joseph L. Kellerman, Sr. and Sarah E. (Short) Kellerman, she was born June 24, 1934 in Gray Station, PA.

Mrs. Ehman was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church and the Ladies Guild at the church and was a lifetime member of Blairsville VFW #5821 Ladies Auxiliary.

She graduated from Derry High School, Class of 1951 and worked as a caregiver for 20 years for various families.

She enjoyed quilting, puzzles, gardening, counting train cars and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the Pirates and Steelers.

Surviving are two sons, Teddy J. Ehman, Jr. (Peggy) of Blairsville and Harold J. Ehman (Lori) of Blairsville; three daughters, Valerie J. Armstrong of Blairsville; Judith M. Barnhart (Terry) of Blairsville and Debra A. Palm (Herman) of Sigel; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, a brother, James R. Kellerman (Yvonne) of Blairsville; a sister, Donna L. Patz (Robert) of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Teddy J. Ehman, Sr. in 2012, two brothers, David L. Kellerman and Joseph L. Kellerman, Jr. and two sisters, Joan L. Patz and Sarah E. Curtis.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday and from 4 to 8 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. James R. Henigin officiating.

Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.

Memorial donations may be made to Gray Station Community Church in memory of Mrs. Ehman.
