June Marie Edgar

June Marie Morgan Edgar, 60, of Indiana, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, at Indiana Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.

June is one of five sisters and three brothers of the late Richard and Margaret (Wiley) Morgan, born on March 10, 1963, in Waynesburg.

June graduated from Waynesburg Central High School and IUP where she designed her own major of fashion design and clothing/textiles. She loved to sew anything she could make, soak up the sun and dance to funky music with her family and friends. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her dogs. She was a loving and caring mother, wife and friend with a smile that brightened any room she entered.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Mark Edgar of Indiana, whom she married on Feb. 7, 1987; three sons, Kyle and wife Melissa Edgar, Zack and wife Katie Edgar with two grandchildren Luca and Owen, and Chase and wife Cassandra Edgar, all residing in Pittsburgh. She is also survived by all of her siblings: Mary Beth Pastorius and Connor Cogswell, of Sewickley; Dan and Cecilia Morgan, of Gibsonia; Linda and Bill Lodin, of Santee, Calif.; Joyce and Bill Winters, of Waynesburg; Mark and Lisa Morgan, of Waynesburg; Matt and Sue Morgan, of Gibsonia; and Marcy and Ken Walker, of Charlestown, WV.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana.  with Pastor Stan Webb officiating.
