Kenneth D. Carr

Kenneth Darl Carr, 81, of Indiana, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

A son of the late Hobart and Pauline (Vanscoy) Carr, he was born March 12, 1944, in Slaty Fork, WV.

Ken worked for Halliburton for 30 years and then 20 years at Chestnut Ridge Communications. He was an active member of Grace Global Church. Ken was a Boy Scout Leader and Scout Master. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. Ken was a great husband, a wonderful dad and a super grandpa!

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sandra W. Carr, of Indiana; two sons: Ken Carr II and wife Julie, of Columbus, OH; Keith Carr and wife Jessica, of Brookville, OH; two stepchildren: Jeffrey Sexton and wife Nicole, of Indiana; Leslie Lesjack and husband John, of Valencia; and 10 wonderful grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Saragaye (Boyer) Carr; and two brothers: Donald Carr and David Carr.

Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2025 at Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Grace Global Church, 50 S 7th Street, Indiana, with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Interment will be in Elderton Cemetery.
