Lily V. Davis

Lily V. Davis, 89, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the home of her granddaughter.

The daughter of the late Norman G. and Addie Z. (Hill) Palmer, she was born June 30, 1934, in Brush Valley.

Lily was a graduate of Pine Township High School. She retired from the YMCA. Lily was a member of The Chapel of Prayer Baptist Church in Akron, OH. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed her family, square dancing and hiking.

She is survived by daughters: Deborah Smith (Don Barnett), of Fort Worth, TX; Linda (Ted) Faris, of Akron, OH; and Brenda (Glenn) Auvil, of Akron, OH. Lily is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Carman Davis; a daughter, Shirley Raber; a brother, Glenn David Palmer; and a grandson, John W. Raber.

Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Adams-Mason Funeral Home, 791 East Market Street, Akron, OH. Additional visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana. A graveside service will immediately follow at Brush Valley Lutheran Cemetery with the Rev. Robert White officiating.
