Linda L. Stevens

Linda Lee (Schon) Stevens, 79, of Latrobe, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at her daughter’s home.

The daughter of Kenneth and Gertude (Miller) Schon, she was born July 30, 1945, in New Rochelle, NY.

She enjoyed conversations over a glass of wine or cup of coffee, organizing themed luncheons and parties for her friends, shopping, perfecting her vegetable and flower gardens, and decorating her home. 

Linda was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her, especially her longtime friends in Florida and her new friends in Pennsylvania. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Surviving are two daughters; Jayne Burns (Tom) of New Florence, and Jennifer Bowman (Doug) of Naperville, Ill; five grandchildren, Sarah Burns (Ceci), Wyatt Burns, Elyse Alldrige (Zach), Julia, and Lilly Bowman; her great grandchild, Rowan Alldrige Bowman; two sisters, Sandra Mackay of Palo Alto, CA and Karen Stevinson (Stan) of New Jersey; four nieces, Kendall, Nancy, Susan, and Sandy; two nephews, John and Doug and her beloved cat, Chloe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack N. Stevens.

Per Linda’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
