Margaret Ann Whitfield

Margaret Ann (Hill) Whitfield, 75, of Josephine, died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in Beacon Ridge Nursing Home, Indiana, PA.

She was the daughter of Leo R. Hill and Margaret M. Parker; she was born on March 10, 1945 in White Oak, NC.

Margaret was a member of the 2 ^nd Baptist Church in Blairsville.

She worked as a nurse’s aide at Torrance State Hospital for 40 years.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting, and spending time with her 9 grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arthur Leroy Whitefield of Josephine; children, Arthur L. Whitfield, III of Albion, David Q. Whitfield of St. Louis, MO, Christine Whitfield of Indiana, and Kenneth Whitfield (Linda) of Blairsville; sisters, Gladys Hill and Ann Mention both of North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Shawntay Williams, Makayla Whitfield, Jayden Whitfield, Alisha Whitfield, Jean Ette Whitfield, Desiree Whitfield, Dominique Hicks, Margaret Hunt, and Arthur Whitfield IV; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Edward Hill; and a sister, Georgia Tony.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
