Melissa Jean Johnston

Melissa Jean (Trimble) Johnston, 45, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at her home.

The daughter of Duane and Cathie (McCombs) Trimble, she was born June 11, 1973 in Indiana, PA.

Melissa graduated from Penns Manor Area High School, Class of 1991 and loved crafting, embroidering and her dog, Emma.

Surviving are her husband, Eric V. Johnston whom she married October 15, 1994; father and mother, Duane and Cathie Trimble of Indiana; a brother, Paul Trimble of Suffolk, VA; a sister, Amy Pennington of Indiana and a nephew, Peyton Pennington of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Oliver and Beatrice McCombs, paternal grandparents, Edward and Bertha Trimble and a brother-in-law, James Pennington.

As per Melissa’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
