Michael J. Kocsis

Michael John Kocsis, 78, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 at his home.

The son of John and Anna (Bencho) Kocsis, he was born January 4, 1941 in North Braddock, PA.

Mr. Kocsis was a member of St. John Byzantine Church, Wall, PA.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for Asplundh Tree Expert Company.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going camping.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Barbara Jean (Nader) Kocsis whom he married May 19, 1962, a son, Michael Kocsis II (Denise) of Greenville, NC; 11 grandchildren and a sister, Mary Ann Ank of Harrison City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Tony in 2017 and a brother, Ronald Kocsis.

As per the wishes of Mr. Kocsis, there will be no visitation or service.

Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.

The family wishes to thank the Visiting Nurse Association for the special care Mr. Kocsis receive during his illness, especially Jeannie, Kim, Darlene, Corbin, Amanda, Debbie and Laurie.
