Paul J. Keeley

Paul James Keeley, 74, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at his home.

The son of Paul E. and Lucy L. (Dargis) Keeley, he was born December 18, 1944 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Paul was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville and a 4 ^th degree member and treasurer of Knights of Columbus Council #3624, Blairsville.

He worked as a food manager for Morrison’s Restaurants for 20 years, retiring in 2006.

He loved following the Steelers and fantasy football.

Surviving are a stepson, David J. Keeley of Irwin; two grandchildren, Kati and Austin and a sister, Maryrose Keeley of Blairsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an aunt, Agnes C. Dorsey.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. where a Wake service and the rosary will be recited by the Knight of Columbus at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday.

Prayers of Transfer will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 A.M. Thursday followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, with Fr. Stephen R. Bugay celebrant.

Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
