Raymond Dale Douds

Raymond Dale Douds, 88, of Blairsville, died on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in Beacon Ridge Nursing Home, Indiana.

The son of Leroy Douds and Edna (Campbell) Douds; he was born on January 28, 1932 in Indiana County, PA.

Raymond worked at Torrance State Hospital for over 25 years as a Psychiatric Aid. He is also a veteran of the United States Army.

He loved to go camping at Yellow Creek.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sarah L. (Kanouff) Douds, whom he married on June 2, 1961; daughters, Beverly A. Kimmel (Thomas) of Blairsville, and Valerie S. Douds of York, PA; grandchildren, Cory A. Reisinger and Jay Scott Reisinger, Jr. (Fiancée, Rhonda Gwillim); great grandchildren, Connor and Olivia Reisinger.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
