Regina L. "Reggy" Endress

Regina “Reggy” Lynn (Ehman) Endress, 49, of Josephine, PA passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024.

The daughter of Jean A. (Galloway) Messenger, she was born March 29,1974, in Latrobe, PA.

Regina graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1992 and received her license in Cosmetology from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.

She opened a hair salon known as “Reggy’s Mane Change” located in Blairsville and later became a paraprofessional in the River Valley School District. In her spare time, Regina enjoyed being the assistant coach for the River Valley Elementary School Cheerleaders.

Regina was a member of Burrell Twp. Rod and Gun Club as well as Graceton-Coral Sportsman’s Club. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, dancing, being at the beach, and enjoyed helping others. She really loved curling up on the couch with her daughter Kylie and watching Hallmark movies.

Surviving is her mother, Jean A. Messenger; three children, Dakota J. Endress of Josephine, Kolton B. Palmer of Blairsville, and Kylie J. Higgins of Josephine; a brother, Eric Ehman of Blairsville; a devoted partner of many years, John Higgins; John's children whom she called her own, Amber Smith (Jesse) of Blairsville, Patrick McIntosh (Eden) of Carrolltown, Nevin Higgins of Huntingdon, and Ireland Higgins of Twin Rocks; John's grandchildren, Jesse Smith, Brent Smith, and Maeve McIntosh; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Wilfred “Russ” Messenger, who raised her, on October 21, 2020.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26th, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Tuesday with Rev. Gary Alberding officiating.

Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.
