Salimay Bowser

Salimay Bowser, 50, of Elderton, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, at her home.

A daughter of Carl and Mary Schmidtchen Mochak, she was born July 16, 1974, in Sarver.

Salimay was a graduate of Freeport High School and was a Bible student at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kittanning. She most recently worked at Giant Eagle. Salimay enjoyed watching movies, shopping and going for rides.

She is survived by her father, Carl Mochak; her husband, James E. Bowser, Jr.; and a brother, Sean Mochak.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mochak.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service is being planned for a later date at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 528 Troy Hill Road, Kittanning. Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
